Se entre aquilo que tu fazes e aquilo que tu dizes houver uma brecha, uma distância não mensurável, é preciso que trabalhes para que os teus atos correspondam ao que dizem tuas falas. Se os atos negam o que tu pronuncias, quem em ti haverá de acreditar? Mas, se tu te calas e teu atos por ti falam, terás encontrado o meio de viver e mostrar onde a verdade está. Qual verdade? Esta: uma palavra precisa confirmada em cada ato; mas, um só ato vale mais que mil palavras. Se nisso tu te fixares, não evitarás perturbações; mas, terás paz com tua consciência porque trilharás com retidão.
